Meet the Team

As a Field Technician at MOY, Shane oversees and assists installing contractors in the Southwest and Midlands areas. His responsibilities include conducting prestart meetings, on-site visits, training, observing installations, providing detailed site reports, and signing off completed projects for warranty. His role is critical in ensuring that installations meet MOY's high standards and that any technical queries are promptly addressed.

Shane is a second-generation flat roofer who began his career at a young age, working weekends as a labourer from the age of 13. After a brief stint in retail, he committed to roofing full-time at 18. Over 15 years on-site, he honed his skills and became a proficient installer of bituminous and cold-applied systems. Transitioning off the tools in 2019, Shane joined a nationwide roofing company as a surveyor, advising customers on remedial works. He then moved into contract management before joining MOY in February 2022. His diverse experience includes on-site work, management, and technical specification, making him a versatile and knowledgeable asset to the team.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys activities with his family, including bowling, mini-golf, seaside trips, and countryside walks. He also values socialising with friends and family, discussing football and cricket. His leisure activities reflect his strong family orientation, teamwork, and ability to connect with others—traits that are essential in his professional role.
