Meet our liquid waterproofing roofing experts
Our people make us who we are
Enkopur Liquid waterproofing is a single pack polyurethane, seamless, highly elastic waterproofing system with a fast wet-on-wet roller or brush applied application.
The Enkopur Liquid system is an incredibly versatile waterproofing system that is suited to all new build and refurbishment applications including overlay, warm roof, inverted roof and walkway situations.
The Enkopur’s rapid wet-on-wet application is capable of dealing with the most complex of roof details. It is also waterproof immediately upon application which protects the installers’ work against unpredictable weather conditions. This system has been designed with zero compromise and is becoming the system choice for both installers and specifiers.
Enkopur is a water vapour diffusion permeable and weatherproof waterproofing system suitable for roof surfaces, balconies, terraces, connections and penetrations.
Enkopur is proven over many years and permanently reliable when used with Enke Polyflex needled polyester fleece, forming the systems reinforcement. It is fully self-curing as a result of the humidity of the air and exhibits superb adhesion to common construction surfaces and materials, when used in conjunction with the appropriate Enke Primer.
Enkopur 1k liquid-applied, moisture reactive polyurethane waterproofing is applied over the substrate as a first embedding coat. The Enke Polyflex Fleece reinforcement layer is immediately rolled into the wet base coat, prior to laying of a further final (wet on wet) top coat of Enkopur 1k waterproofing.
Most substrates require use of an appropriate Enke Primer in order to achieve the required adhesion of the waterproofing system.
Where applicable, an appropriate Moy polyester-reinforced, SBS-modified bitumen membrane with special adhesion-promoting additives that guarantees a tenacious bond between the bituminous compound and the substrate. Backed with a silicone-treated release liner which is removed at the time of application.
Thermal insulation is an essential component within a warm roof system. Its purpose is to control and maintain the temperature of the building below. It’s important to ensure a sufficient thickness of insulation is installed in order to meet the requirements of the appropriate Building Regulations and local legislation. Other considerations are critical when selecting the type of material used as a thermal insulant, such as its compressive strength and loading capacity, acoustic properties, fire performance and compatibility with the waterproofing system.
Purpose of the air and vapour control layer is to reduce or control the passage of air and moisture vapour passing from within the building, up through the roofing system, potentially causing risk of interstitial condensation within layers of the roof construction or allowing increased levels of air leakage.
Where applicable, depending on the type of AVCL used, an appropriate primer may be necessary over the roof deck, prior to the application of the AVCL.
The structural roof deck spans the structural frame of the building to provide a continuous support for the roofing system and ultimately what the roof is attached to. This may be in the form of a profiled steel, profiled aluminium, concrete or timber deck. All designed to accommodate all anticipated design loadings.
